Club Swim Meets

Organised by individual clubs. The criteria for these meets is decided by the organizing club and may specify qualifying times or restrictions. PSC swimmers may compete in any club meet designated by the committee.

Zone Swim Meets

PSC is in the Gold Coast Zone. Gold Coast meets are held regularly and are suitable for every level of competitor, but are primarily for younger and non-competitive swimmers.

Club League

Club league is a Wellington interclub competition for swimmers who are just starting and are subject to numbers.

Wellington Long Course Champs (Summer)

Run by Wellington Swimming Association and are open to all registered competitive swimmers, however, qualifying times apply.

Wellington Short Course Champs (Winter)

Run by Wellington Swimming Association and are open to all registered competitive swimmers, however, qualifying times apply.

Selected Events

From time to time, WSA organises special teams to represent the association at selected competitions. Nominations may be called, or the Race Secretary may put forward a list of qualifying swimmers for selection.

National Meets

These meets are run by Swimming New Zealand. NZ Juniors, Division 2, NZ Aged Groups, NZ Youth & Opens and NZ Spring Meet. Overseas swimmers are often invited to attend to lift the standard of competition.
