Time has arrived for us to go through the enrolment process for another year. We need to do this to ensure continued registration with SNZ – for both competitive and non-competitive swimmers.
Please can you make sure you complete this form for each swimmer as soon as possible, and either place it in the box or post it to our PO Box, or bring it to the AGM and prizegiving on Friday 29th May.

The Worser Bay Life Saving Club is running an Open Water Swim on Saturday March 28th 2009.
There are three options for competitors to choose from:
• 2.00pm - a 700m swim
• 2.30pm - a 1.4km swim
• 3.30pm - a 200m along the shore swim for 9-12 year olds
Entry fees
• Pre-registration (by 25th March) for the 1.4km and 700m swim $10.
• Registration on the day at club rooms (11.30am – 1.30pm) $15.
• 200m children’s race (pre-register or on the day before 3.00pm) $5.

Urgent: Note that the relay event will now be held at Cannons Creek Pool due to issues with the starting blocks at Tawa Pool.
Warm up is at 5 pm.
The Arena Aquatic Centre has been refurbished and restored after the fire late last year. Our first training back at our 'home' pool will be on Saturday 28 February. Latest Porirua City Council news here

All qualifying times for the Swimming Wellington Long Course summer champs have been released. The flyer is attached. Further details about PSC registrationa and payments are to follow.
Our Porirua Hardcore meet was very successful. The committee wishes to thank everyone who helped out on the night and beforehand to get the meet off the ground - without your support this wouldn't have been possible.
It was a long evening but we have had some very positive responses from clubs around the region and from swimmers about the opportunities this meet gives athletes to swim in a large variety of events, at this stage in the l/c season.
