Successful PSC meet

| posted in

Our Porirua Hardcore meet was very successful. The committee wishes to thank everyone who helped out on the night and beforehand to get the meet off the ground - without your support this wouldn't have been possible.

It was a long evening but we have had some very positive responses from clubs around the region and from swimmers about the opportunities this meet gives athletes to swim in a large variety of events, at this stage in the l/c season.

Results are attached.

Nevill newly elected President of NZSCAT

| posted in

At the recently held New Zealand Swim Coaches and Teachers Conference in Christchurch Nevill was elected as the new President of NZSCAT. This is a great honour and we congratulate him with this new position.

Nevill also attended the 2008 Australian Swim Coaches and Teachers Conference held in May. He felt privileged to attend. It offers him a brilliant opportunity to listen to very talented teachers and coaches from around Australia and New Zealand.

Swimmers in the PSC squads will notice the changes that he will be making to the programme over the next six months.
